Biography

Lindsey is pursuing a doctorate in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology, along with a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at West Virginia University. She holds an M.S. in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology from WVU, and a B.A. in Psychology along with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University. Lindsey has worked with individual athletes and teams across a variety of sports and age groups, focusing on enhancing performance through mental skills training in areas such as self-talk, confidence, team cohesion, and goal setting. Her approach is grounded in increasing psychological flexibility, emphasizing mindfulness, acceptance, and values-driven actions to foster growth and resilience. Lindsey’s research interests include the psychology of injury and the psychosocial factors influencing rehabilitation and return-to-sport outcomes. Her dedication to consulting is inspired by her own experiences as a cross-country and track athlete. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her two Australian shepherds.
