Master Your Mindset & Elevate Your Performance with Our Services
Guided by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) we follow ethical, theoretically-informed, and evidence-based practices in client consultation. In the intake session, we will discuss your performance concerns to understand what skills and/or mindsets may be helpful.
Some of the foundational mental skills we help clients develop include:
Building upon these foundational skills, we seek to help our clients refine and maximize skillsets like the following:
Through the systematic use of foundational skills, organized to produce reliable skillsets, our consultations guide the integration of adaptive mindsets (e.g., psychological flexibility, growth mindset) that support performance enhancement, satisfaction, restoration, and transferability to non-sport domains.
Mental performance consulting is very different from mental health counseling or therapy. MPC trainees do not engage in the diagnosis or treatment of clinical concerns. If clients develop concerns that fall outside the bounds of sport and performance psychology and the consultant's expertise, we will provide appropriate referrals to ensure client safety and well-being. Our scope of services, client consent, privacy and confidentiality will be discussed during the intake session and during the initial 30-minute phone consultation.
