Biography
Hannah is a doctoral student in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology and masters student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at West Virginia University. In 2022, she recieved her master's of science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Hannah is a former basketball player and current AAU girls basketball coach for the Minnesota Suns, but enjoys watching and working with all types of sports. Hannah's research interests include eating disorders, body image, weight bias, and gender equity in sport. Previously, Hannnah has been a research fellow at the Tucker Center for Research on Girls and Women in Sport where she was a part of the team that launched CoachingHer and Body Confident Sport cirriculum for coaches and girls across the globe. Her career goal is to do applied sport psychology and mental health work with athletes of all ages while teaching and conducting research. Currently, Hannah teaches undergraduate courses in Sport Psychology and Sport Sociology. In her free time she enjoys walking, running, yoga, keeping with up Gen Z tiktok trends, and spending time with her friends and family.
