Biography

Hannah is a doctoral student at West Virginia University in the Coaching and Teaching Studies program. She received her B.S in Exercise Science from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she played collegiate soccer there for 4 years. In 2020, she went on to receive her master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Ball State University, with a minor in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. She has consulted with individual athletes, competitive and professional sports teams, as well as sport coaches, to enhance  mental performance in sport. Key aspects of her work include topics related to motivation, values identification, coping with performance related anxiety, self-talk, return from injury, and supportive coaching. Her research interests are grassroots coach self-efficacy, support for women and mothers in coaching, the coach-athlete relationships,  and supportive coaching behaviors. In her free time, Hannah enjoys being active, reading high-fantasy, playing piano, and hanging out with her two cats!
