Biography

Hannah is a doctoral student in the Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology Ph.D. program, as well as the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program at West Virginia University (WVU). Her pursuits at WVU encompass mental health counseling, mental performance consulting, coursework, and research, paving the way for her to become both a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Before this, Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on the Psychosocial Aspects of Sport and Physical Activity from Michigan State University. Hannah has experience collaborating with athletes and teams across various developmental levels, addressing key areas including self-talk, team cohesion, imagery, emotional regulation, confidence, and goal setting.

Hannah’s passion for mental performance and athlete well-being evolved during her career as a Team USA figure skater, where she learned firsthand the importance of resilience, balance, and support in achieving optimal performance. In her work, Hannah takes a client-centered approach that emphasizes the client as the expert in their own journey. She fosters collaboration and empowerment, helping her clients enhance both their mental performance and overall well-being.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time ice skating, running, traveling, being outdoors, and creating art.
