We provide evidence-based mental skills training and mindset coaching to individuals and groups of all ages in sport and performance settings. Our services enhance performance, promote well-being, and develop transferable life skills, all delivered by mental performance consulting trainees under expert supervision at WVU's School of Sport Sciences.
To achieve this mission, our consultations follow ethical, evidence-based practices guided by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). We begin by discussing your individual performance needs to create a tailored approach. We can help you develop foundational skills such as motivation, imagery, performing under pressure, and goal setting, as well as refine more advanced skillsets like confidence, leadership, resilience, and psychological flexibility. By building these skills, we aim to foster adaptive mindsets that not only enhance your performance, but also improve your overall well-being.
It's important to note that this is performance consulting, not mental health counseling. If needed, we can provide referrals to other professionals.
